One day in Vienna

I spend a day in Vienna, i was over to visit my beloved Austrian sister Doro and what we did was wondering around, talk as all girls do when they get together, walk miles around this beautiful city and eat of course. Because what for visit it will be, if i didnt try something culinary what the city has to offer:)

Wein&CO Bar Stephansplatz

Right in the city center, next to Stephansdom is this lively wine bar located. And my dear Doro took me there straight away. The atmosphere is awesome, you have the feeling like everyone in Vienna goes on Friday night out for glass of wine with their friends after work, people sitting or just standing where is a bit of space indulge in conversations. Wide selection of wine is avaliable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the glass of red wine here and will pop up here again.

Pure Living Bakery Downtown

Close to Museumsquartier you can find this lovely rustic bakery with Californian flair. The interieour is made so cool i couldn´t stop looking around to observe all the different bits&pieces around me, which were so differnt, but so perfect next to each other. We ordered coffee and cakes. I had Italian style cappuccino which was delicious, they serve American style cappuccino too, and this was like everything in America almost twice the size of Italian one. With cakes we selected chocolate kind of Snickers cake which was awesome and apple pie, this wasn´t the best i ate, but we finished it anyway:) I was sad i ate breakfast before and wasn´t really hungry comming here, because i will love to try some of their other things from the menu, such as bagels (vegan options available too), waffles or shakes. They offer healty food, vegan options, cakes without artifitial ingredients, soy or lacto free milk for coffee, everybody can find what they like. I will definitely be back here to taste some more of their menu.

Vapiano

Lunch we ate at this Italian restaurant network, where you enjoy fresh, quick prepared food you can grab with you or eat in their nicely decorated interior. I had a oven vegetarian pizza and it was very nice, deserts looked awesome, but i was too full to try them. I like this style of quick serve fresh food restaurant, where they cook in front of you.

Vollpension

You enter this place and you feel like being at your grandma and that´s not a coincidence, because what is made here, comes from grandmas - that´s the concept of this place. I felt cozy even when this place was packed during our stay. We tried some cakes and they were delicious. You can come here for breakfast, cakes or some little lunch, everyday a part of Mondays, when they are closed.
